It is a must visit for anyone who wants to see the beautiful chalets from the beginning of the 20th century in this municipality. The construction of this circular house began around 1916, but was interrupted by the death of its owner, Jo\u00e3o L\u00facio, a lawyer and poet, in 1918.<\/p>\n<p>Chal\u00e9 Jo\u00e3o L\u00facio is a rotating house, with a circular plan and no back, and therefore does not have a main fa\u00e7ade. Squaring the circle, which is a concept present in several systems of thought, gives this house a strong symbolic charge. Access is made from four stairs distributed by the cardinal points: the north staircase is in the shape of a fish, the south of a guitar, the east of a violin and the west of a serpent.
